Song of the Day

Finally something more current! Sort of? Well, it’s been a while since this song has been in the news but it has just been revived. Today’s song of the day is “Beauty and the Beast” in the movie, Beauty and the Beast. This year, there is a live-action remake starring Emma Watson as Belle. Ariana’s voice compliments this song so well especially in the beginning where she uses a rather soft tone. If you guys watch the music video, many people in the comments section like to critique Ariana’s role in singing this song but honestly, I love it a lot. John Legend played the male role in singing this song which was also good by I think I preferred Peabo Bryson a little bit more. I’ll be recommending Ariana Grande’s and John Legend’s version today. Soon, I’ll probably recommend the Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson version.

When I heard this for the first time, I had to keep on repeating Ariana’s part. It’s really good. For some of you older people (no shade), this may be nostalgic or a little bit hard to watch since the new generation has changed the style. But I just love this song. Check out this song! I know you won’t regret it.

Thank you guys so much for reading another one of my Song of the Day posts! If you guys have any recommendations of songs I should listen to, I’ll definitely try my best to reply and write a post on it. See you guys later!

Song of the Day

My my my. If it isn’t another Song of the Day. Well! Mariah Carey takes it this time again with one of her older songs, Whenever You Call. This song is just brilliant. So much emotion poured into this song and power which could even rival Whitney’s.

Some of you guys may not be familiar with Mariah Carey. Rolling Stone classified her as one of the top 100 singers of all time which is a huge accomplishment. She has an astonishing 5 octave vocal range which still remains one of the largest in music history. I really hope you guys listen to this song. Anyways, do you guys have any recommendations? Put it down in the comments down below!

See you guys later!

Song of the Day

How many of you guys grew up with Disney? Well as a 00’s kid, I didn’t get to experience many of the classics Disney had to offer. But I sure did watch Mulan. The seen where the leader of the Huns gets pinned down by Mulan and gets shot with a bunch of fireworks have probably been replayed 100 times on my TV screen since I loved this movie so much. Today’s song of the day is, Reflection.

As I was looking down my recommended videos on YouTube, I stumbled upon MsMojo’s list of Top 10 Disney Princess Songs. Reflection took the number 3 spot which was well deserved. During my toddler days, I did not appreciate the actual emotion put into each of these songs but now, things have changed. In the video, Mulan is realizing the conflicts in her mind on whether she wants to live life how she wants to or obey traditional family lifestyles. Just this song already touched me more than the Patriot movie which was about the American Revolution. I really hope you guys listen to this song because it will just bring back nostalgia of your childhood or even teach you more about Disney songs!

Like what you saw! Have any song recommendations for me to listen to? Any different topics you want me to write about? Put it in the comments section down below! How to see you later! Bye!

Song of the Day

Time to bring out some anime music! Today’s song of the day is from the anime, Fairy Tail. Not only did the anime itself get me hooked, all of the openings always kept me on for an extra 1.5 minutes. Sense of Wonder is the second opening of the Fairy Tail series about the fights between Fairy Tail and Phantom Lord. Using more of an inspirational style lyrics, this song shows the joyous experiences of teamwork and how things will always get better if you work as a team. In the video, we see Natsu, Lucy, Gray, and Erza all teaming up to beat Phantom Lord demonstrating the lyrics.

I really hope you guys enjoy this amazing tune. Currently, I’m listening to a bunch of the Fairy Tail soundtrack while doing my homework! Hope I get to see you guys later! Bye!

Song of the Day

Hello everyone! I’m going to be starting a new type blog posts where I talk about the song I’ve been listening to during the certain day. This blog is supposed to be about learning new things and getting to know more about other topics you never really knew about.

For my first song of the day, I’m taking it all the way back to the 90’s. Who else than….. Mariah Carey! I’m a huge Mariah Carey fan and part of the lambily (Mariah’s fans). This song was part of the Music Box Era in 1993 which was Mariah’s 3rd album. The song had a much more “pop” feeling compared to the previous songs marking Carey’s transition to pop. Whenever you’re just feeling down or you’re depressed, just listen to this song. It has all the funky beats with a happy melody which will not fail to impress you!

This is Dreamlover by Mariah Carey.

Tell me in the comments section how you felt about this song! Did you guys know who Mariah Carey was before this?

See you guys later! Bye!

Video of the Year Award Prediction

Hello everyone! I’m going to start off my new category in music by predicting who might win the VMA awards this August. Since my knowledge in different music genres is limited, I will only discuss a couple of the categories which can be analyzed by myself.

To kick things off, let’s talk about the Video of the Year award.

Nominees:

  Adele: Hello

 Drake: Hotling Bling

   Kanye West: Famous

Beyoncé: Formation

Justin Bieber: Sorry

Who do I think will win Video of the Year Award?

Although this choice might be very controversial, Formation should win the Video of the Year Award. Formation tackled topics such as the Black Lives Matter movement whereas most of the other videos did not have a central message. Adele’s video of Hello was not the main part of the song since the vocals inside the song were what made Hello famous. Speaking of famous, let’s talk about Kanye West’s song, Famous. Famous had a very controversial video as well as choice of song lyrics. Since I’m just a teenager, I need to refrain from watching those kinds of videos so the knowledge I possess of Famous is all just from news articles. Still, the video of Famous did not have any meaning to it. Hotline Bling was very famous for its dance inside the cube-like structure. Other than the dance, there was nothing more to the video. Sorry’s music video was nothing other than hot girls dancing. In essence, Formation should win the Video of the Year Award because of how good the video itself is. If judged by the song (which is a different category), I would give it to Adele but because Formation has such a good video。 I give this one to Beyoncé.

Video of the Year Award Prediction:

Beyoncé: Formation

Thank you so much for reading my blog. Put down in the comments section if you guys want more posts like these? Don’t agree with my prediction, put which video you guys think will win! See you later!
